Michelle Camilli is a trained family law mediator, and has years of experience in mediating cases.
What is mediation? When two parties are involved in a family law case, the best solution is usually the one that they can agree upon. In mediation, the parties (and their attorneys if represented) attend session(s) with the mediator to discuss and negotiate the terms of their case, with the goal of reaching a settlement.
At the session(s), the mediator guides the parties through the process, helps them understand each other’s perspectives, and keeps them on task to resolve the issues and details involved.
Michelle offers mediation sessions online through Zoom video conference.
Call for a free mediation consultation (both parties should be present).
Co-Mediation is the process of mediation, however using two professionals in the role as mediator. The mediators work together with both parties in an effort to settle the case. Some family law clients like having two perspectives and additional ideas in coming up with creative solutions, and they like the balance it seems to create in the process.
"SENE" stands for Social Early Neutral Evaluation. This is a process used by parties to resolve the issues of custody, parenting time and other aspects of their co-parenting plan. This process is available whether the parties are married (and going through a divorce) or they are unmarried (and going through a custody/parenting time case). We do not discuss any financial issues in the SENE process.
There are two evaluators, a male and a female. Michelle is a trained SENE evaluator and has several male co-evaluators she can recommend if the parties are interested in this process. Book a consultation to learn more.
